Early life of Emily Blunt

Emily Blunt was born on 23rd, February, 1983 in London. Her father was a renowned barrister and her mother was an English and Latin teacher. She was sent to the independent Ibstock Place School. She received rigorous education there. Blunt enthusiastically joined sports, music and academics; however, was held back at age 8 of a painful stammer. Blunt visited speech therapists and cranial osteopaths for three years. When she was 12 years of age, one of her teachers shrewdly cast her in a class play. Doing so, she encouraged Blunt to try speaking in a different diction. She attempted a northern accent. Though it was unconvincing, she had overcome the stammer! Then, she thought that acting was obviously her cup of tea.

As far as Emily Blunt was concerned, lbstock Place School was a pressurized environment. Her fellow pupils were extremely competitive. She always felt lonely and left out. Later, in 1999, she moved on to Hurtwood Co-ed Boarding School just south of London. It was a top rated school in the country and academic results were remarkably high. Emily Blunt studied drama for two years at Hurtwood House. She also excelled in cello, singing and sports. In a short time, she was considered as one of the promising students in school. In August 2000, Blunt was selected to perform at the Edinburgh International Festival. Blunt was critically acclaimed for her excellent performance. Agent Ken Reddie signed her and got her roles in a number of television and stage productions. Blunt acted in the play The Royal Family opposite Dame Judi Dench at the well known Haymarket Theatre. Emily Blunt was in a relationship with the Canadian singer Michael Buble between 2005 and 2008. She lived with him for some time in Vancouver. In fact, he wrote a single “Everything” for Blunt. She also sang briefly on his album “Call Me Irresponsible.” Three years of stable relationship between the two had to break up due to the pictures that went viral online. The pictures brought his fidelity into question. In a later interview, Buble said that he regretted the fact the he and Blunt were so very public with their relationship.

Later, in 2008, Emily Blunt started dating American actor John Krasinski when she was associated by her co-star and close friend, Anne Hathaway. They dated for nearly two years and announced their engagement. Blunt and Krasinski wed in July 2010 in a private star-studded ceremony in Italy. Blunt gave birth to her first child at age 30 on February 6, 2014. The couple named their daughter as Hazel Krasinski.
